Descriptions

Eternium is an amazingly fun and beautifully crafted Action RPG, reminiscent of the great classics.

Eternium stands out from other mobile Action RPGs by its effortless “tap to move” and innovative “swipe to cast” controls, and its player-friendly “no paywalls, never pay to win” philosophy.

With the exception of a couple of online-only features, the game can also be played offline after the content download completes.

Drawing signs to cast spells is easy and rewarding. The tap-to-move control is more natural and relaxing than thumbsticks, and it’s also truer to the vintage point-and-click Action RPG experience.

The game can be really played for free, as more than 90% of our players do. Purchases are completely optional. Gems, the game’s main currency, can be collected from enemies and quests. There is no limiting stamina or energy. The best things in the game are obtained by playing, not paying.

Eternium has been launched in 2014, and is actively being improved by the original development team. Through years of polishing, and feedback from millions of players, the quality of the game has steadily increased, making it now one of the highest rated games on all app stores.

As of fall 2017, major new features are in advanced stages of development, including real-time multiplayer, town portal, and a fourth world.

Enjoy the visceral satisfaction of responsive, fast-paced combat, with spectacular special effects, pleasing sounds, rewarding damage numbers, all set against immersive backdrops and atmospheric, inspiring music scores.

Play as a Mage, Warrior or Bounty Hunter, wielding a sword, axe, staff or gun. Level up to learn new abilities and increase your attributes.

Battle skeletons, zombies, automatons, aliens, demons, dragons and many other creatures, across three beautifully hand-crafted worlds, or in endless generated levels.

Venture into dark caves and dungeons, explore forests, villages and graveyards, lay siege to demon controlled castles, brave snowy mountain peaks, travel to the moon to slay strange creatures among craters and canyons, and beyond, to the deserts, pyramids and jungles of the red planet.

Open treasure chests to loot gold, gemstones and battle gear. Equip shiny breastplates, menacing helmets and hoods, spiked shoulder pads, mysterious cloaks or capes. Protect yourself with a shield, or choose to wield two weapons as a warrior.

Rescue your tank, healer and ranger companions who will join you in battle. Use their abilities together with yours to create rewarding and powerful tactical combos.

Experience a refreshing storyline, filled with interplanetary intrigue and seasoned with funny characters. Hunt your arch-enemy, Ragadam, across the worlds, while trying to uncover and undo his twisted plans.

Progress from common to rare, epic and legendary gear. Find gemstones that fit in your armor’s sockets. Craft socketed rings and amulets, and fuse three of them into a higher quality one.

Unleash awesome offensive abilities, such as Whirlwind, Shockwave, Arc Lightning or Blizzard, control the enemy crowd with Frost Nova, Vortex, Silence, or sneak and assassinate with Smokescreen, Traps and Snipe.

Each hero class has access to about 20 abilities (skills or spells), and each of your three companions has four more. The game starts simple, but culminates in a flurry of tactical possibilities at high levels.

Once your hero reaches level 70, your experience points go into Champion Levels, which are unlimited and yield steady stat upgrades. Champion Levels are also inherited by your new heroes, so they will have an easier time growing up.

Aside from the three story acts, an endless progression of beautiful, randomly generated levels awaits in the Trials of Valor game mode.

Eternium is crafted with passion by a small band of old-school RPG fans, who love making the game they always wanted to play.

So far I'm really liking this game, level 10, the graphics are nice, it runs smooth and clean as well, and it reminds me of RuneScape kind of. I also really like that you can totally play for free. Gems and other stuff helps but isn't necessary. There is also a dedicated forum for Q&A which is appreciated. Supposedly multiplayer functions are coming soon. While I think I'll stick to solo I'm interested in seeing what they come up with. The only thing I don't like is having to tap all the time to move. If that could be changed to say a ball in the bottom left corner that'd be great! Full Review

Great game. Takes a long time to level up if you don't spent any money but with $20 you can max out with little trouble. And this game is worth every penny of $20 so no regrets. Very responsive devs and frequent new content since they've started challenges. Highly recommend. Full Review

This is an amazing game! I hight recommend everyone giving it a go. The developers seem genuine and not sell-outs or cash grabbers. Only one thing I would love to see is Samsung Dex support, that would knock my socks off lol. Other than that, thank you for such a brilliant game. Keep up the great work! From a new loyal customer. Very fun, well made. If you like rpgs and want one thats rellatively quick that you wont have to grind away at for weeks then give it a try. Im pretty impressed how balanced the game is. The controls can be a bit wonky sometimes but such are tap games. Full Review

It's a fun little game, but I'm now at a point that without buying gems, the game is at a crawl. I've nearly beaten every map all five times, the trials become too difficult for my power level and getting better equipment and resources becomes a matter of days of grinding or paying money. I was excited about the event the put in the game. There were some fun prizes for the people who completed the goals first. But they were pretty much for sale. Full Review

Very well done. The developers are clearly much more focused on the game quality than making money. I can tell they put a great deal of thought into player satisfaction and value. What needs work: the only premium scaling item so far is not nearly as good as other random loot and the crafting system is terrible. Full Review

I've been playing this game for several months now, and it hasn't gotten old. Really fun gameplay, decent story, great control system, and it's the first, and maybe only, game of this type and polish that you don't need to shell out a ton of money in order to win. I haven't spent a dime on it so far, but might just to support their work. It's that good. Full Review

Very well made. Time to enjoy a more relaxing RPG. Point and move, draw symbols to cast spells. Graphics are very well done. I already have 3 in my party and it didn't cost me a thing. They were all through gifts and free gems from the makers. Full Review

Perhaps a little oversold as a true RPG. Eternium has a decent story and character/weapon building elements, but the gameplay is hack-and-slash dungeon crawling. That said, it is an exceptional example of a dungeon crawler. Amusing and engrossing, it looks and feels amazing. The controls are simple but effective. And the game makers have lived up to their promise to make it possible to play for free and offline if you choose to. Me, I'm going to buy some gems as a sign of appreciation. Full Review

It's got the foundations of an awesome game. Fun mechanics, interesting game play, etc. But it's so ridiculously, stupidly easy. Just let your character sit still and you literally cannot die. You have to beat the game to raise the difficulty level, but it's just boring. Full Review

Give us money for more gems! That is the entire premise. And your finger gets in the way of the screen but you have to be constantly doing motions and tapping. Somewhat amusing but the pay to win aspect and constant need for more gems to do anything is obnoxious. 5 gems per video watched is so stingy. 60 more videos and I can afford a new passive slot! Ridiculous and greedy. Full Review

Eternium is a possibly addicting game that gives you that quality rpg feel on your phone without paying money for it or to play a "full version" of the game, unless you want to quickly unlock abilities, ability slots, stash (hero's storage), inventory, companion slots, and so on. I recently deleted my account, however, because I accidentally bought a 3rd stash group which cost gems I intended to use for other purposes, and I found no "undo" button for it. A few other things: It's relatively low on internet consumption (or you can opt to play offline) It isn't "impossible" or very difficult to finish levels as to other games. It can take up a lot of your time, and some time for upgrading abilities (so upgrade them early). It has an auto-attack feature that can be disabled in the settings option. It's one of the highest rated apps in the playstore. (Though they do offer you gems to give a rating of 5 stars) Enjoy! Full Review

After awhile you get drops that ask if you want to watch ads. The idea of different movements equaling different attacks is good in theory but I feel have controls haven't fully been fleshed out yet. I think the most insanely annoying part is that in order to move your character you have to constantly tap a short distance away. Full Review

Doesn't take itself too serious - I like the campy humor, and appreciate it doesn't incent constant checking back in. Great game for 5-10 min breaks. My only complaint is they offer gems for watching short adds (gems are game currency for extra inventory slots, etc). The number of gems is low and frequency of offers high, and it breaks the flow of the game. Full Review

Beware of the number of 5 star reviews. This is an inflated number due to the game giving you in game currency to rate it five stars. Overall the game is an OK dungeon crawler by androids standards. The touch controls are awesome and I wish more games used this style. Unfortunately where the game fails is its ultimately just boring. The normal play through is so easy I auto attacked my way through it. No strategy whatsoever. It also takes an absurd amount of gems / time to get the higher level gear. That is if you really want to drag your brain through this meat grinder of a game. Full Review
