FINAL FANTASY III -- now on Android!

First released in 1990, FINAL FANTASY III was the first title in the FINAL FANTASY series to become a million-seller, establishing once and for all that Square Enix's classic RPG saga was here to stay.
The full 3D remake released in 2006 duplicated the original's success, selling over a million copies worldwide.

FINAL FANTASY III was a hallmark of innovation for the entire series, from the job system that lets characters change classes at any time to the ability to summon powerful creatures such as Shiva and Bahamut.

When darkness falls and the land is robbed of light, four youths are chosen by the crystals to set forth on a journey to save the world.

This game is AWESOME! FF has always been my favorite game franchise. I'm a harsh critic but Enix has made a perfect adaptation. Its almost identical to the original except where improvements could be made. Not as much of a grind to level up and dungeons are not AS hard to navigate(still hard in later levels). Retro style 3D graphics are very smooth on my LG Stylo. Fast screen loading and transitions everywhere. Plenty of cool secrets to reward diligent players. Well done. Worth the price for serious RPG players. Full Review

Worth every penny. Works great on my cheapo, not-fancy little Galaxy Centura Tracfone. I've played Final Fantasy games on three platforms now through my gaming years...I've played all of them except III, V and VI and the MMOs, and I'm so happy I can play these to complete my gaming experience. Go buy it if you want a FF fix. Would totally buy again. Life long Final Fantasy fangirl here. Updated for a new phone and I've played maybe halfway through now? Not sure. But everyone who loves FF needs to play this. Best games ever made by human hands. Full Review

To those who say the game is too short are quite mistaken. The credits you see after beating the first boss are intro credits to the game. It's some awesome turn based combat and a great job system that paved the way for future games. Fantastic game. Full Review

Game crashes on Lenovo tablet. When you message the developers you receive an automated email stating you won't receive a reply from this address. However, it's the only one they supply. Happy to change my rating if I get a resolution. Full Review

This is a flawless remake. It runs smooth on my s3, but it is a bit of a pig on the battery. Only thing that could have made this better, is if there was an option for the original graphics. Great game, totally worth the price of admission. 5 out of 5. Full Review

One of the best final fantasy Games. Beautiful remake. Those saying it's too short are cutting it off at the intro credits and missing almost 80 hours of gameplay because they are too stupid to realize classic design had opening credits. Like classic Disney cartoons. Smh Full Review

Just like how I remember from the DS version. My favorite Final Fantasy by far. The epic story, great characters, awesome world, cool villain, etc. My first Final Fantasy game I've played and been hooked ever since. Word of advice for anyone new to this, let the beginning credits roll, the story is incredibly long and awesome. Very worth the play. Full Review

Old final fantasy games had an opening story then the OPENING credits. People who are saying it's too short thought that was the end credits. The endgame , if you don't really do any side quests , you should be like level 50 and have 22 job classes. If you don't have job classes you haven't really started the game haha. On that note, I battled Odin and won but I don't have the Odin summon so I can't get the secret "???" Dungeon ... If that gets fixed I will give it five stars. Full Review

I've been on an FF spree as I only ever played VII,VII and IX over and over. The app itself is fantastic. Lots of similarities to VII and IX *A TIP* - unlike the later FFs, saving is limited when not on the world map. This can cause problems when a random enemy wipes out your party (you also can't buy Pheonix Downs, only find them and Arise comes late in the game) but when you are wiped out, immediately bring up your app list and close the game. Then when you reload you'll have a "continue" option that'll load you before the last battle. Have fun *qwark* 🐣 Full Review

This game is a classic. The only problem I have with it is that it won't let me make a solid save. Only quicksaves. I keep dieing and have to restart hours of gameplay. There shouldn't be a save option in the menus if you can't use it. Full Review

I like this but, I really hate how the icons name appears on my phone. All the other main final fantasy games (through VI, at least) appear as FinalFantasy2, FinalFantasy4 it, but this one appears as FINAL FANTASY (number) and because of name length you cannot see the number. I wish this would be changed to match the other games. Full Review

Can't get past the land turtle. Apparently you can't hard save before the land turtle so when you die, you have to go through the intro all over again. Also first boss is too hard if I level to 3 and burn 3 potions and still can't beat it. FF7 and FF8 weren't this ridiculous. Full Review
