This was a great app and then they updated it. Somethings are easier to use but others like hurricane tracking have lost so much usefulness that they are of very little value. You use to be able to pull up NOAA reports about active storms and now all you get is a very short current wind speed blurb with the track. Maybe some of that info is now in the "future" function that is available for an extra cost but I don't know. I liked it better (hurricane tracking) before the update. Full Review

The new version TOOK AWAY "storm tracking." I've had the paid (upgraded) version of this app for 3 years now. Just recently they redesigned the app, it's features and settings. I DO NOT LIKE how you can NOT use the storm tracking features in the layers settings. WHY DID YOU TAKE THAT AWAY? You use to be able to turn on a feature where in the radar, boxes appeared identifying every inch of a moving storm. It had arrows showing what direction the storm was moving. Is it that this feature is gone because now this app is promoting- upgrade again for a dollar month charge to see future forecasting? This version sucks without those features! Fix it. If I am missing something on how to use that function, please respond with directions. Full Review

This app used to be amazing, then it was totally revamped and is not good at all anymore. The radar is less accurate, the map loads super slow, it doesn't auto load zoomed in where you left off like before, it's a real step backwards. Please consider putting it back the very good way it was. Full Review

I used to love this app before the recent update. I would be able to tell whether it was safe to walk my dog or not. But now the rain pattern cycles through so quickly and I can barely read the time. I wish you would go back to the way it was displayed before and allow people to slow down the radar time periods and it would be nice if I didn't have to manually zoom into my location every time I open the app. Full Review

I agree with so many others. This app used to be amazing!!! We are boaters and could see "real time" where a storm was on the lake so we could make important safety decisions. I typically don't pay as much (as I originally paid for this app), but it was totally worth it. Now with the update I feel like what I paid for was taken. And now asking me to pay more money for updates that are sub-par to what we had before. I understand if you would like to make changes to the app, but people who previously purchased should be allowed to keep the original. Please put the app back the way it was. Full Review

It was amazing I was willing to pay for the app which I bought 8 months ago, but since the update now you have to have a Subscription to get more options that we used to have. I use this app a lot to keep track of the Severe storms. It used to have storm track but now you have to pay for that and other inportant options about a storm cell. which now have to pay for that also. Plus they are making so idiot proof that it truly a pain to use. Full Review

Never really worked all that great, bought the app because my work is affected by the weather and I was going to GA for Irma, and it is rather sub-par compared to many free apps. Even though you have to buy the app, they now want you to pay a monthly subscription for some features that you get free on other free apps. I personally don't feel the app was worth spending any money on. Full Review

Was my favorite radar app before recent updates, paid for it and now I'm asked to pay monthly fee again. Map is not working properly, lags a lot, does not do animated future or past conditions as it used to do. Totally destroyed app, do not even bother trying to use it. Full Review

This used to be a great app. The last update made it not so much. I used to be able to have it start at "home" on startup. Now I have to have my gps(not the battery saving one) on for "more accuracy"...what?! I will not let your app drain my phone for radar capabilities. I have less options for what I like to show, less control, and I can't even sign in to my account. Why break a good thing all in the name of HD? I may start looking for a replacement. Full Review

Previously rated 1-star because major update was broken & immediately crashed when it first came out but those issues have been resolved. Currently a 3-star rating because 1) new subscription model that used to be a one-time time fee and 2) when the app first starts you have to zoom into your location everytime despite being zoomed into your desired location the previous use. Before the latest major update this was a 5-star app. Full Review

Update: Can't believe I paid for this. Contains nagware that keeps begging for a five star rating. Not gonna happen. I'm now wondering what I paid for. It now has fewer features than it did when I bought it. This used to be my go to radar. Now it's pretty much just another "pretty" free radar app (that I paid for). Full Review

Att galaxy s8 stock. Please being back the old app. Or can we get a version of that? Simple and easy. So useful during hurricane season. The new app is not very intuitive and lacks the features. I really can't use it anymore. Simple nice radar app is what we like. Those who paid for the app should get the version they want. Full Review

After years with no updates, I'm ecstatic to see this resource get some attention. The data is accurate and applicable, so it's okay. But the UI could still use some attention even with making the icon appear just like the one listed in the Play store...rounded corners. I'd like to see a beta open up! Full Review

What the he_1_1_? I've had the paid version since 2015, and now the usable layers function is gone! Storm tracking, and being able to choose like, lightening strikes. They can't just take away functions we've paid to have can they? Even your own description says: "Storm Tracks with detailed storm information." So, where'd this go? It says nothing about removing it, so what do we do to get our paid for functionality back? And why isn't someone addressing this? Lightning strikes, little arrows storm tracking, and the large detailed information when the 'watch/warning' box was tapped was the entire reason I bought the pro version to begin with! I have my Google receipt. Full Review

This app was perfect then they "updated" it and ruined it. Now every time you launch it you have to manually go to your location and zoom in instead of it automatically going to your location like it used to. Then you have to hit play to see the radar annamated like it used to do. In other words I used to be able to launch the app and see if I was going to get rained on in button push and 1 second. Now it is a lot more effort and time compared to other apps. Bring back the old version I paid for please! Full Review

UPDATE: After receiving a barrage of negative reviews, the developers updated the app to give the appearance that the reviews had been addressed. This is not the case, and I am even more sure of my rating now. I bought this app a long time ago and recommend it to everyone. Used it during during Harvey to guide a team through weather to Port Arthur. Can't express how disappointed I am that after the update the app crashes every time I use it, and that the features I already paid for have been removed or made subscription based. Full Review

Does anyone have any ideas of a better weather app? I loved this app for years with its accuracy down to the minute and it's ease of use. I have tried to use this updated version but I cannot stand it. Doesn't even Zoom automatically to your location anymore, I honestly don't care about the entire country's weather when I'm trying to determine when it's going to stop thundering so we can get back to business. It's not even the new pricing structure that I'm not happy with it's just a really poorly designed app now. I'm canceling my subscription. Full Review

Contact the Google chat team via your android device or on a computer, the live chat works best, tell them that you paid for premium content that was removed and now there is a monthly fee for that content, then ask to start the paperwork for the delevoper removal. I paid for the premium content that that the developer has removed, then added a monthly subscription for the premium content that people have already paid for. That is a scam! I recommend everyone that has been affected by this to file a developer removal/ban with Google. This will eliminate developers from scamming people, that could bring them extremely hefty fines and a permanent ban in the Google Play Store. Full Review
