Type, hand write, draw, and clip things from the web to get down your thoughts into your notebook. Use OneNote's flexible canvas to place content anywhere you want. You can even scan hand written notes or pages straight into OneNote then make them searchable.

OneNote is set up like a notebook to bring the familiar physical 3-ring binder to the digital era. Easily use sections and pages to separate out thoughts by theme at school, home or work. Not sure where you categorized something? Use our powerful search to look across all of your notebooks or just the page you're on to find what you're looking for, even words on pages you scanned into your notes. You can use tags to label to-do lists, follow up items, mark what's important or make custom labels. Use OneNote as a notebook, journal or a notepad. Organize in one place, from anyplace.

Share your notebook with whomever you want, such as your colleagues or family, and work on your projects together. OneNote syncs your notes across all devices and lets multiple people work on the content together, at the same time. Leave comments or tags to people to ask follow up questions, draw up your ideas, plan and journal the family vacation or check off the to-do list.

OneNote is great on your own or when you share with a team. Use it as a notepad for team meetings, brainstorming projects, draw attention to important points or organize key resources to never lose track of what you need. Work together in real time to stay in sync and on the same page. You can log in with 2 accounts at the same time to seamlessly move from work to personal and back. OneNote is available across your favorite devices, no matter what your team likes to use --Android, Apple or Windows-- you can still work together to get more done.

OneNote is great for school for both students and teachers. Take your notes during class with ease, mixing in text, ink, and web clippings. Use OneNote to organize your brainstorms, draw mind maps and develop your ideas for your next school assignment. As a teacher, plan your lessons and have all the information you need right in your pocket and on the go.

OneNote is part of the Office family and works great with your favorite apps, such as Excel or Word to help you do more.

Use the OneNote badge as a notepad to list your thoughts down no matter when something crosses your mind. The badge hovers on screen and lets you quickly write your thoughts down during a phone call, while on the web or wherever else your mind takes you. In addition to the badge you can launch OneNote from a home screen widget or pin a notebook or page straight to the home screen helping you dive in faster, right where you want.

This is one of the best apps for taking notes and more. Great for business, pleasure and work. It is excellent for Android mobile phones especially Samsungs. The One Note shortcut badge feature is excellent for immediate access. This app is ideal for persons who love to make notes. It is ideal for emergencies such as a vehicle accident. Photos are easilly imbedded. It is great for socialising. Just open it up and jot down info about people and friends you meet at social events. You can use it to create an electronic diary. I love how it allows you to organise info into sections using coloured index page tabs and automated title headings for each page. I am very pleased with this App and highly recommend it. Seems perfectly fine... The only issue I have with this app is the assumptions it makes about using it. I know everything is intuitive these days but occasionally you need to know some things about the app itself. Still don't know the difference between a new note and a new page... Or why you even need to separate what I suspect these functions actually are. The best note app to me will always be the one that comes with the Galaxy Note. Just copy that ffs! 😂 Full Review

It keeps shutting down as I go to use it. Sought advice on line but nothing seems to help with my problem. Phoned Microsoft and have totally fobbed me off. I have alot of really important notes and cannot access them. Will have to try to find a more reliable app. Also since new upgrade of the app lost sync with my Lap top and cannot open up notes in Onedrive either. Full Review

Best app ever! I'd been looking for an app that allowed me to draw & type while taking notes. Getting all the extra bells and whistles like cloud sharing & category sections is truly a well planned bonus! I love being able to move text boxes around. The only thing I want now is password protection. Phenomenal job you guys! Full Review

I really like the app! You can sort your life out and organize so much stuff or jot stuff down in a free and funky way. My only gripe would be the lack of the other, simper tools that you may get on other microsoft apps. Like the table insert, to crop pictures, to group pictures (you can only group drawings and other stuff that makes organization just a tad quicker & easier. Besides that though, still love it! The App is decent, although OneNote for iOS and Windows has many more features. Certain features, which are essentials and should have been there from the beginning, are just being added now (lasso tool for example.). After the lastest patch, handwriting pretty much became a desaster since the writing jumps around after the stylus is shortly removed from the screen. Still missing handwriting recognition for searchable handwriting and different colors for markers, insertable shapes etc. Full Review

For my uses, the best note taking app in the Google Store. Great for college notes, especially math and other hand written notes. I love that they're introducing new features like the lasso select. It seems the latest version introduced some minor bugs, however. Hopefully they will fix soon. Full Review

, This used to be a fantastic app to take notes with on my Samsung tablet. Latest update has made the spen input unreliable. Previous version allowed easy switch between handwriting and typing with the tap of your finger. The new system now looses the pen whenever I push the spen's but and I have to click a stop button to be able to type. Please bring back the old functionality, untill then I'm off to find another app for note taking. Full Review

This app is useful if you are integrated with the windows platform. I use my tablet and my PC when taking notes. That being said it's has a lot of functions more catered towards larger note taking projects like school work or recipes with photos and sections. It doesn't excelle at quick note taking for groceries or reminders Full Review

The best blend between simple and advanced note taking. I manage several projects from the desktop version. But I still want the ability to view it on mobile. This app allows that. I also hate complex itemized To-do apps. I just want to scratch things down and organize later. Onenote does this amazingly!! Full Review

Well it is very good app and I like it.. But the only thing I want is please provide me the zoom out of pages or provide a scroll bar.. I use this app for noting down my dairy.. Its actually good I can't lose my memories.. So I need to scroll down a lot and a lot which is time consuming.. In windows phones we can just zoom out the note' page and scroll down easily.. So please provide zoom out or scroll bar to quick navigate on same page. Full Review

Excellent organizational feature. Finally bumped from 1 star to 4 stars with the addition of lasso selection! Hooray! Now please add shape recognition(line/rectangle/polygon/circle), and the ability to rotate and change line properties (color/thickness). Eventually, handwriting recognition would be nice. It's a great app but it will no longer open on my phone. There are many reports online of this happening to many other users, but Microsoft is yet to do anything about it. Considering I pay quite a lot per month for Office 365 for me and my staff, this is horribly disappointing. Full Review

One single complaint is that it should also integrate into the app the one-note online features like table insert, tags, page layout enhancements etc,. But despite the above mentioned request... I love it for what it is. It's a great and AMAZING app and the BEST in the store. I use it for my digital bullet journaling (as opposed to a planner as this is much more customisable), note taking (duh), journaling, to do list etc,. Absolutely worthwhile of an app to improve my study life and organization prep. Full Review

This app is my favorite for taking notes. I use a stylus to write my class notes; however, with this atest update to writing, writing with a stylus has become so frustrating that I would rather just use paper and pencil again. If you are typing, there are plenty of organizational tools and customizatoins to make note taking easier. Just wish this app had more function (such as different rule line sizes) like the desktop app. Full Review

It was a simple good app, the update ruined it I guess. Now the app crashes seconds after opening it. This happens when the mobile data is on. I have far too many things on it to sit and transfer it to another app. Please do something about this. It crashes every time I open it. The best it has lasted in the past month is 5 seconds, after which it closed and restarted. When the mobile data is off, it is fine. When on, its useless. Full Review

Update 9/2/18 - Latest version is really poor. Drawing on my tablet now shifts slightly as it resolves the drawing, and this takes half a second to do. So you might start writing a word, and the first few letters shift while you're writing which is very distracting. Its much slower, and occasionally the drawing stops working on a pen and you need to change pens then switch back again. For drawing this is a much poorer version than it used to be.
