Though I loved your app and even installed it as system app, I have mixed experiences. It captures decent photographs, better than my stock camera app on Moto E3 Power but it lags on many places like camera animation on switching between portrait and landscape modes. Make camera settings hidden which can be opened by sliding on the left side of the screen, so that the lag is not noticeable. Also the quick settings are not working immediately after opening app, this was not the issue earlier, this is happening after installing custom notification shade (Material), when I draw shade for a moment I can use settings. I don't know what to do? Help? Full Review

Absolute necessity for Pixel 2/2 XL owners. Google didn't provide manual ISO and shutter speed adjustments in the factory Camera app, and by using Open Camera with the camera2 API you can use these features. As well, there are many more useful tools in Open Camera helping to assist in taking level and sharp photos. Full Review

It works with few (minor) glitches and those eventually go away with the next version. I use it both to record video and occasionally for still photos. Best feature for me is limits on max length & file size with auto restart making files easy to upload to YouTube. Can record directly to a micro SD card saving phone memory. Lightweight and small yet loaded with features. It just works ! Puppy Linux users understand what I mean. Full Review

Amazing focus. Using it with Lineage OS 14.1 on a Galaxy S5. Turns the Samsung camera into one that's as good as an iPhone in terms of focusing simplicity and power. Have been using it a while to great effect. Nearly all other "DSLR" apps in Play Store are a shameless repackaging of OLDER versions of Open Camera. It's a fascinating case study of how the Play Store review system can be gamed by shrewd operators. Full Review

My Moto 360 Camera had an issue with recording long videos, with a maximum individual recording file size limited to 4Gb. This app has a feature that will stop, save, and restart recording after a specified time limit or file size. I set mine to 10 minutes. Now it can continuously record in 360 degrees in 4K until my SD card is full. Full Review

A UI that doesn't look like it's from 2012 would be a great addition. What I would like to see is a UI design which follows the Material Design guidelines, which will not only make it look very modern but also make it fit with the UI of the new android versions from 5.0 and up. At least remove the camera icon from the shutter button or replace it with a better one. Full Review

This app is simply great. I am using it since June/July to improve the quality of my photos and videos took with Xiaomi Mi5, known from a good camera but kinda meh app. The videos taken with the official xiaomi app have bad, broken audio, but this app fixes EVERYTHING! Photos are great, VIDs are crispy 4K! Love the Open Camera, one of the best apps i have ever had. And it's free. And it's professional. And most importantly; it works perfectly well and has no ads. Good work! Full Review

It has nice features and improves camera usability. My biggest problem is the GUI for exposure compensation (EC). You get the big grey square (essentially a ND filter) in the middle of the screen. When the screen is important for estimating amount of EC needed the grey square is in the way. Forcing you to go back and forth between the normal view and EC app till the exposure looks right. Full Review

I really like the options I have with the app, but I hate that I cannot have 4k video AND raw photo capturing at the same time. If I want raw I have to enable api2 option, but that disabled 4k video. If I want 4k video I have to disable the api2 option, which in turn removed the raw function. That it the only thing I hate!!! Oh, and I miss the Panorama, slow motion and other options from the standard camera app on my Note 8...... That's the only reason I don't give 5 stars. Full Review

One of the most complete photo apps I have used. Al the settings are there. Can do everything automatic as well as manual override. Lots of extra help features (leveling photos, compositie aids...) Also the source is available. Help file and instructions on the web site are very clear and complete. The only possible extra I could think of is the possibility to take panorama photos, 360° or spherical photos. Full Review

This is by far the best Android Camera App I have found yet! It's simple and complicated at the same time. It takes really great pictures on my ZTE Grand X 4, so much so, that I now use it instead of my default camera app. It has great manual controls, you can do pretty much anything with it. Sice I have acquired it, I have taken some wonderful pictures. Full Review

I see strange behavior with the shutter speed... When ISO is 1505 shutter goes to 1/15s, then with ISO 1600 it goes back up to 1/17s. Can you fix this problem? Shutter should stay on 1/24s until max ISO is reached, then it should start to lower. Other than that all good. Full Review

My main camera app for video recording now, because it can record 100 Mbit videos which are sharp and beautiful. Too bad framerate change requires support from ROM and my ROM sucks at it, so it's always 30fps no matter what. I hope someday it will be possible to do so standalone, no idea how, though. But, i have to inform that this app taken a long times to saved just even for 1 photo shot. After a photo shoot this app not instantly saved. I always needs to restart my phone just to make the photo appear in gallery. I use Lenovo A6000 and Hisense Andromax AD688G. Both has same problems.
