I love this Rosetta Stone in Japanese. Along with Dr Moku Hiragana and Katakana, and Luv Lingua Premium edition. ALL 3 apps help me learn the language alot. Kanji very difficult. And it's also good to buy Japanese From Zero books as well. Sooner or later in the future, take a college course in Japanese. And look for an online tutor. It's a fun hobby to have. Because I enjoy watching a lot of Tokusatsu. The Japanese language will help me understand the TV shows and movies, and anime, without relying on too much English subtitles. Full Review

I started with Rosetta on a computer that I no longer have, so this app is a wonderful development. It's clean, concise, and very easy to use. I live a very busy life and this makes it possible for me to further my Spanish skills anywhere at any time. I've already learned enough to understand being spoken to from my Boyfriend and his family, now it's time for me to do some speaking. Rosetta Stone is the best language learning tool, hands down. 10/10 would recommend to everyone Full Review

I originally gave the Rosetta Stone app 5 stars but I am changing to 1 star because it no longer works. I bought the polish language suite which worked on my pc and phone/tablet app. After several months, the phone app requires me to re-purchase the polish suite to continue even though the computer application works. I'm highly dissatisfied with the experience of the Rosetta stone app. Full Review

I've never wrote a review, but this is worth my time. The way their teaching methods are make this challenging and fun in a simple way. I love it. I'm starting French lessons. This program used to be expensive now it's a program on our phone for free, it's wonderful Full Review

I like it...but I hate only after one session you have to pay 200.00 for the rest of the sessions after 1. Like c'mon Rosetta girl we know you got enough money. Just make it free. That's why Duo Lingo is on the come up on the app game. Full Review

Code purchased did not work. Emailed a complaint, Rosetta asked what the issue was. Told them the code did not work and still have not heard back after a week and a half. At this point I'm too frustrated to want to use their product. Full Review

Well made and easy to use. It doesn't have as many features as the pc (and possibly tablet, idk), but that is to be expected when using Rosetta Stone on a phone because of the screen size. I really like the app! (^o^)/ Full Review

I am extremely disappointed in Rosetta Stone at this point. I loved the way the app was laid out, it made it easy to learn in just a couple spare minutes. I bought the Portuguese two years ago and Spanish language pack a year ago. Today I noticed on my credit card a charge of $149 from Rosetta Stone. Being that I had not purchased anything I called Rosetta Stone to clarify the misunderstanding. I was informed that the language packs I had bought were subscription packs recurring every two years. No where in the purchase did it mention it was a subscription, nor was it listed in the Google Play Subscriptions. I am incredibly disappointed that there was nothing in writing. I figured that since it was the same cost as the physical disk that I owned the language pack, such is not the case. Please be careful before buying a language pack from this app. Full Review

The content is the same as you get in the web or desktop app. The exact same. This has not been optimized for phones at all. The pictures are tiny and sometimes difficult to figure out what is in them. Also, the app has a hard time recognizing what I'm saying. If you're going to use the mobile app I suggest you use a tablet. Full Review

I'm thirteen, but still want to learn Spanish. It's very unfortunate that you need to pay for much of the app's features. This app is an incredibly effective way to learn Spanish (in my opinion), but I am unable to fully experience it all due to my lack of money. Would recommend to my friends, I'm even teaching my friend Spanish with this app! Full Review

I like it...based on the reviews you can't unlock lessons from progression, you have to pay for more lessons. Maybe try considering recurring payments...say $2- $10 dollars a month. If not, I'll just complete what's free and move on to another app with more available for a lesser price. ( $200 upfront is too much) Cheers ! Full Review

Thank you so much for the opportunity to help me learn Spanish. I wish that somehow the speaker could slow down with the pronunciation of the words and maybe repeat it more than once. I'm a little slow when I try and speak the words :) Full Review

The android app subscription does not give access to other platforms, like the browser version. It is not specified anywhere on the subscription page (which is very poor in information BTW). It is also impossible to cancel the purchase - even on the day of purchase - because of Google 's abusive terms. Full Review

Rosetta stone is absolutely useless for new learners. I can understand how it's useful for someone who is already introduced to a new language but even then why would anyone pay money for the almost useless review. Especially when there are free apps like "hellotalk" where you can learn from actual people instead of boring recordings. Full Review

I first want to say that if you make a purchase for the 3 year access for Rosetta Stone app, and have no intention to continue to use it afterwards. Then please be mindful/aware of an automatic renewal service. Which automatically charges your acc. after the 3 years (In my case I was charged $162). And that it will take up to 2 weeks for you to be refuned. I purchased Rosetta Stone back in 2015. At the time of the purchase there was no statement of this automatic renewal service. This has left me greatly inconvenienced. I would like to caution anyone who is interested in paying for Rosetta Stone. Full Review
