Could be better... I like the way the game looks, but the campaign mode is super short and not worth the money. If you want move levels (15) get ready to dish out another $1.99, good game just not totally worth it. If it was free to begin with I would have spent the money for extra levels... Full Review

Game play is decent but there is no undo. It is extremely easy to touch the wrong spot by mistake and unintentionally move a piece. Moving pieces is not intuitive nor natural. I play solo only. It is really a pain to keep telling it to not spy on my activity. Deny is deny forever. Full Review

Game could be good but the computer AI knows exactly what my troops are. I have had a few games of a 9 reeking havick on my troops and specifically circling and missing bombs. Or I've had tens go completely around my strategically placed spy or not attack my bait. Need to fix the AIs xray vision, also add an undo button Full Review

Stratego single player version Olde skool board game I loved when I was a kid, now the app I love today! I'd like to thank all involved for the update that seems to have cleared the bug that had it freezing up. Now, if you could make AI a stronger adversary, it would be great. On 3 stars difficulty I win unless I go crazy and send my troops out with blindfolds on. Full stars and thanks alot Full Review

I want to buy Stratego, but why pay for a game that wants you to buy "in app purchases"? This just seems weird. Stratego is a board game and I see no reason for any "in app purchases", and I also can't find any information about it in the describing text. I wish Google could offered a way just to hide/disable all "in app purchases" applications. Hopefully such apps won't exist in a few years. Full Review

It is a good app to learn how to play the board game. The computer definitely cheats on the highest difficulty and knows what your pieces are, although has still not won a game against me. Worth it for a while, but the silly and cheaty AI will annoy you after a while. Edit - nah I have to only give it 2. Computer player really cheats a lot. Full Review

First impression Seems ok. The new art style is pretty dumb though. I'm glad you can go back to the old classic one because at least those were correct Napoleonic military units and looked cool. The new style is a nonsense mix of 18th century bullshit. Full Review

It's ok but can be very frustrating Looks awesome... But the AI seems to just move back and forth a lot waiting for you to make all the moves. Also I'll try clicking other pieces to move and it either moves the piece in the wrong direction or moves the last piece I moved in directions I didn't even touch! I've had to restart many games because of that. Very frustrating. Full Review

Cheaty. Don't buy. The campaign was OK but real quick. The single player AI seems to know what your pieces are, which invalidates the whole game. Don't even think of wasting you money on the multiplayer version. There are so few downloads of it probably no one even pays. Full Review

3 Years, No Improvement There has been absolutely no improvement in the AI of this game in over the 3 years that I've had it. In over 200 games at the highest level I've lost 1 time, and only then because I got extremely careless. Not a testament to my great skill so much as an indictment of the woefully weak AI. This game might provide your child with some amusement, but anybody over 6 years old will find no challenge here. Only reason I don't rate it 1 star is because the graphics are good. Full Review

The only thing that makes the AI difficult on 3 stars is that they automatically know when to use their scout against your 10. Without any way of knowing other than the AI being able to see my unit numbers without them ever being revealed. Full Review

Sometimes it moves to the wrong spot (sideways instead of forward, for example.) Also, any chance you guys plan to fix the bug that prevents "counter" achievements from finishing on the advertisements page when they fire? They always show as 9/10 or 99/100 or 49/50 and the like. Plus, the "diffuse 6 bombs" never fires when you diffuse all 6. Full Review

I have made a new version of stratego and several other games...called Kingdom and Existence. - I Will not acknoledge 10 to 1 style, only 1 to 10 for stratego. The ethics of the games truth and wisdoms discernment is to undertake the responsibility and actually not to allow even 1 fatality while playing stratego on either side should in effort instill play relection sometimes up to 1 week; while procuring and realizing the developmental necessiry. Then sometimes play and practice paradigms truth continuum. Full Review

keeps opening in vertical format before switching over to wide screen 'landscape' orientation, board games should be in wide screen only; in game statistics shows several hundred wins combined score on two devices, but google achievements shows only ninety-nine percent for a hundred wins and ninety-five percent for fifty. In other words when playing make sure you're 'connected' online because the app won't apply your achievements retroactively; minus one star. Edited from 2/5/2017. Full Review

The other comments are not true. Like how the game moves pieces that you did not order, this is because you are suposed to drag not click. Others say that the game cheats by knowing all your pieces, this may be true for the campaign but so what, you know the AI'S pieces anyway. The regular battles do not cheat tho the AI either guesses rembers the uncovered ones or sees you move to determine what rank your piece is.Now the final complaint I saw was the price of the game, the game cost money and in the game as well to unlock more levels ($0.99). This cost money but if you are a stratego pro like me that wants to challenge the best stratego players, just suck it up and buy this cause its one of the smartest stratego AI I have ever seen. And a MEASAGE to the PRODUCERS make the game free or at least the multiplayer game so more people can acual y get the game. Full Review

Game okay. The game plays well, mostly, but... you must get over the initial shock of the cartoon-y artwork on the pieces and the new rectangular shapes. If you can, then it's okay. The one serious flaw in this game is that the Two Squares movement rule is not programmed correctly. When you have a piece trapped it gives the evader FOUR MOVES!! Needless to say, this is a downer. Also the message is wrong that uses the phrase, "more than four moves". It should be "more than three moves". Full Review

Studders the more you gain points in game It would be a good game if it didn't studder so bad. It sometimes takes a minute between moves. There is an obvious bug in update that was done. I first downloaded game on dec 8th. It was fine for a day or 2. Once i gained more points and accomplished more goals the studder began. Its like it's somehow using too much memory or something now. Please fix this. Your AI is pretty terrible as well. Full Review

Potential Game has potential but is frustrating. AI seems to know where all your pieces are before they have been revealed. AI has no offensive strategies and will move one or two pieces back and forth until you attack. Game crashes a lot and barely ever saves the progress in the campaign. Lastly, to get more campaign levels you have to buy them, even tho you already payed for the app!!! If problems are fixed and AI changes its strategy would give 4 or 5 stars. Full Review
