Can I play with my friends by passing the device around?
Yes! Get your family and friends together and race each other to the Crown!

Do I need to buy expansions to join an online game with expansions?
No! You do not need to buy expansion packs in order to join a game that is using them, but you cannot choose the characters from it until you purchase it.

Does the game have asynchronous play?
No. Talisman doesn't really suit asynchronous play due to players having to react to spell casting.

I really like the board game version, but I cannot stand to try and play this version anymore. AI are often ramping up and becoming unbeatable, and dice rolling seems exceedingly unfair towards human players. On a regular basis it seems human players will roll low, and have enemies roll high, while AI often see favorable rolls. Curiously enough, my friends and I noticed that this occurs more often when playing with AI as opposed to with only human players. Full Review

This is sort of Dungeons and Dragons in a box. It first I didn't care for it very much but I kept at it and now like it. It tells a great story and has a number of expansions. Some of the expansions change the game board while others just add additional cards. The expansions also add new characters for you to play with. I added some of the "cards only" expansions and they add more variety to the game. I'm glad I gave it a chance to make an impression on me. It turned out to be pretty fun. Full Review

Glad to know Woodland's is coming ... cataclysm too? I have loved talisman since version 2. This version combines the best parts of v2 and v3, and setting it up and cleaning it up is a breeze. It would be nice if we could zoom in on the txt for harbringer at the start etc ... or any floating card. Can we look through our collections based on card type rather than the set? Also, global chat would be great for setting up online games ... All and all though, this game is amazing! It is Talisman after all. I am glad this exists. This is even better than Pathfinder (which I loved btw). Full Review

Wow! This is a great game. I've never played Talisman before but as a digital board game it's really engaging, tons of fun and is extremely addictive. Have found myself losing big chunks of the day as I just couldn't put it down. The base game is great to get started with but after several games it lacks variety and that's why the expansion packs are great. They are very cheap too and have added huge replayability to the game. Will be playing this for years I'm sure. Keep up the great work and more expansions please! Full Review

Pretty much perfect. A bit too easy to win all the AI in my opinion, but still fun and good practice for I play the actual board game with friends. I spent more than 550€ buying the base game and all the possible expansions, so compared to that, this digital version is basically free. Full Review

Love the game, hate the dice rolls. For one example, my last Crown of Command rolls '6,6,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,4,1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,2,3,1,1,1' then the [email protected] Dwarf (still on full lives) I'd been trying to kill off legged it into the city and drew a city watch card of some variety that forced me to roll a dice I rolled 1 and rerolled and got 1 again and was dragged off the Crown into Jail, roll to get out and get a 1. I ended up just throwing my arms up in disgust and quit. I swear if the rolls are random I am NOT going to Vegas, EVER 😅. Can't stop playing it though due to nostalgia, first played it around 1989 when the character figures were card stuck in plastic bases. Any plans on the Sci-Fi content? I remember there was a Cyborg character and fun things like a anti-gravity lift and a chainsword. Full Review

Great game, and they recently fixed some crashing problems. Still some mind-bogglingly bad AI decisions. Example: One AI about to move to Valley of Fire, another AI casts Aquisition, and doesn't take the first AI's Talisman. Second Example: One AI on Crown, I cast Immobility spell on that AI, another AI casts Counterspell on the Immobility. Full Review

I was enjoying this game at first, and was considering getting some expansions (btw getting to try one a week is a great idea)... but the more I play the more disappointed I get, because the AI is terrrrrrrible. Not just "not good" but actively doing things to hurt itself. Often when an AI gets a wish (enchanter, etc) it chooses "teleport" and then teleport the a safe where it pays to gain a life, when it could have just chosen to get one for free from the wish (which, of course it shouldn't actually do either, since strength or craft are correct 90 or more percent of the time). The AI overvalues life. It attacks other players and takes lives, even though that almost never gains anything (since death isn't permanent, and you can't usually kill others fast enough any way). it's OK if the AI doesn't make good longterm decisions, but it shouldn't make such obvious, stupid errors that literally no human could ever make. At the beginning: it's good to see the developer who responds to the comments of the users. I've been playing a talisman for three years already. I started with a prologue and finished with Horus. And I want to say that you make wonderful games. But even in good games there are bugs: 1: The most important: Since today, the game no longer comes in google play, so it's impossible to play online and the achievements with the leaderboard were gone, and the game disappeared from google play when there was a prologue with Horus. (Fixed) 2.Please fix the achievements, otherwise I've been trying to get an "immortal" for three years: - \ And new achievements from dlc do not work. (Fixed) 3.And please, fix the orb. I'm already tired of pressing it twice :-) (Fixed, finally) 4. There is a graphical bug when choosing a spell. You guys did a great game. I hope that my comment will help make you even better. Your faithful player. p.s. I do not understand the players complaining on the cube, this is a table game, it all depends on randomness. And it's certainly sad when you are attacking a demon for a troll, but it's again, just an accident. 10/10 - luchaya RPG-nastolka, 10 iz 10. Full Review
