    I haven't used the appointment feature yet but this app doesn't have a basic function of hitting the back button and closing or prompting you to close. Cmon this is basic stuff. Updated app as instructed but back button still doesn't close out app. Also we have to create a pin each time we use the app if it logs you out. That's an inconvenient and pointless feature. The whole point of a pin is to avoid putting your password. Full Review

    Set up appointment but never received a call from a physician. A rep called back, 2 hours late, and asked if I would be interested in rescheduling. I did and never heard back. Horrible customer service. Full Review

    Doc spent TWO minutes with me, told me he was going to make a referral to a local physician, and then told me to feel better when I wasn't even sick. Completely uncaring attitude. Terrible experience. Full Review

    It says 24/7 put me on hold for an hour than told me I had to wait 5 hours to see a doctor. The doctor sent the script to the wrong pharmacy. Called them to get it changed to my pharmacy and surprise 5 hours later from the original appointment still no script. Doctor on demand is light years beyond teladoc Full Review

    We have used Teladoc twice for our 7 month old and once for my wife. Each time was a great experience. One visit for the baby was on Christmas so the wait time was a little longer than normal but it was still way better than having to go into the ER or urgent care on Christmas. The doctors always listened well and we got a prescription for what we needed. Full Review

    Don't waste your time. All you will ever hear is it could be a lot of things. You need visit urgent care. It's an ear ache. Just lucky my employer offers this for free (not even worth free) I feel sorry for all those that actually have to pay for nothing. Full Review

    Fantastic. I did wait an hour for a callback but since I was at home it didn't bother me. The dr. Gave his diagnosis and sent my script in. I really wish I left my husband on my insurance plan so that he could utilize this service since he hates going and waiting to see a Doctor. I will recommend to my fellow co workers. Full Review

    They are horrible! I have been waiting 2 days to be called back. I was told this morning that the doctor tried calling me 3 times and my appointment was cancelled! That is a LIE! I do not have any blocks on my phone. This morning I rescheduled my appointment via video. They called to ask if I was willing to take a phone call instead and that I would be the next one to receive a call from SC. Three hours later and no call. So I called to change back to the video call. I was called again and guaranteed a call back as the next patient in line. That was two hours ago! This same ordeal happened two years ago. I made an appointment for my son and myself. I received a call for my son but not for me. So I cancelled my appointment. However, they billed me and I had to get that straightened out. I could have already driven to another state, sat in a doctors office and received care. I do not recommend Teladoc to anyone, not even animals. This is ridiculous! Full Review

    Missed 3 calls. They don't tell you to have restricted calls unblocked or that you'll get three attempts when the first call is to verify your identity. $25 for a service that I didn't use and waited 3 hours to find out this nonsense. The customer service rep, said I would be charged for each visit attempt, and had no empathy.. . An email said I wouldn't be charged?!? Going to minuet clinic where I don't wait because you can set an appt online. Full Review

    SERIOUSLY!....Waited about an hour got a call asking to switch to phone call instead of video. Granted I wanted them to see the rash that my daughter has, but granted I understood and was told I could upload pictured and I understood, but then was shown on the status of my call the a provider was reviewing the chart and would call soon. Now 1 more hour has passed and the status now says that my visit request is in the queue.. 30 minutes later I finally get a call from some one i could hardly understand really!     Total waste of time and money! Just directed me to my family doc. The whole reason I didn't go to my doc was this was supposed to be cheaper and more convenient.     HORRIBLE. The lady sounded like she could not care less about my feelings. She didn't even ask about all my symptoms and was questioning my previous doc's diagnosis! She sounded like she was out running errands and just looking to make money on the side by casually and callously rattling of diagnoses. Biggest waste of $35!!!! Full Review

    Don't want to pay a real doctor? Use Teladoc and you get to pay $40 to be told to go to a real doc. Or better still, they can call you from a restricted number, tell you they will call you back in 5 min, and just never call back, so you can either roll the dice,again with another $40, or just bite the bullet and go to a real doctor.     Terrible. They told me they would send a prescription to the pharmacy. Went to the pharmacy. No prescription. Called customer service. They told me they would send the prescription and call me when it was there. No phone call no prescription. Will never use this service again. Too bad because it could be a great idea but the reality is the customer service is terrible. Full Review

    Extremely displeased with the navigation of this app. I simply needed to find my password and it was like I was requesting clearance to the Pentagon. And 10+ minute wait time to speak to a rep. Ridiculous! Full Review

    Needed a prescription for a scratch on my cornea and doctor denied to call in because they were afraid I wouldn't follow up with a regular doctor. It was Christmas Eve and the urgent cares weren't open and I couldn't afford the emergency room. I called back to complain and explain I needed something temporarily to relieve burning until after Christmas so I can go to my regular doctor. They said a nurse will call me back to help and of course they never did! I called back later on in the night and the representative said the nurse never got to look at my case cause they're busy. She also said they couldn't call in a prescription eye drop cause the doctor denied me the first time. They told me I couldn't get a refund cause the doctor talked to me so I pretty much threw away $40. This company is a BIG WASTE of time and money. Makes sense they are part of my insurance. Crappy doctors/company and crappy insurance!!!! Full Review

    The doctor didn't ask questions to figure out what was wrong, he didn't tell me what was wrong with me and the topical cream he said to use didn't work. Ended up having to go to urgent care anyway. Frustrating. Full Review

    The problem is not with the app or the concept but witb the misleading information they provide. Their website says: "speak to a licensed under 10 minutes" we waited for more than 1 hour. The doctor did see the picture we uploaded and sent prescription but, they should not make such claims if they don't have enough doctors. We are happy with the concept but not with the way is being managed and advertised Full Review

    I feel like a lot of these complaints are financially related. So I would like to point out that this service helps so much. Instead of waiting in an office for 2 hours, I get to wait at home comfortably. I love that. I don't think the intention however is to replace your healthcare provider. And as far as the language comment, literally none of my Drs first language is English. But guess who has the Dr degree...Not me. Smh thank you teledoc for your much appreciated service. Full Review

    We have been waiting for over 3 hours for the doctor to call. I'm not sure who did the math for the 10 minute wait time, but it's a joke. I understand that it's flu season, but if you advertise a time frame you should have planning in place to get reasonably close to achieving it. Full Review

    Teladoc saved me from sitting in a doctor's office waiting to be diagnosed with sinus infection, which I already knew I had. Saved a co-pay as well , and received their call quickly. Better than waiting on a doc in a germ office. Full Review

    very little UI feedback. Tap on something, nothing at all happens for seconds (e.g., tap on "not now" for "share my location", not even a graphical change to "not now"). Apparently the folks who made this think they know what I want more than I do because when I rotate my tablet their app changes from portrait to landscape (or vice versa), even though my system settings indicate I don't want any rotation. Operation of the system back button is inconsistent. I also expect tapping "back" when there is no more history to exit the app, not do nothing. Their service may be phenomenal, but their Android programmers seem lacking. Full Review

    Been waiting two hours for a call. I have received 3 notifications that a doctor is reviewing my medical history. If it only took me 2 minutes to create my medical history, why does it take 2 hours to review it? I have read tombs of reviews that have had similar issues with this service. I deleted my payment profile and locked my bank account. I won't have them charging me for doing nothing. I don't care If everyone has the flu. I DO TOO!!!     I have no problem with the apps. Just want to express my frustration with the wait time. For the pass 3 time, it took over 2 1/2 hours for the Dr to call after setting up the consultation through the apps. It only took 15-30 mins before. Full Review

    Used this for the first time because I am seriously too sick to leave the house. The doctor was rude and did not listen to me. He would not prescribe me any antibiotics because I wasn't over 10 days sick! WHO HAS 10 DAYS TO BE SICK!? He said I had a sinus infection due to a cold after I told him I have a history of severe sinus infections but STILL wouldn't give me anything for it and told me to take some advil. The call lasted less than 2 minutes and cost my insurance and I money. Waste of my money and I'm still sicker than ever. Will have to go into a minute clinic now and spend even more money when Teladoc should have just listened the first time. Full Review
