As an old fan of the hero quest boardgame this is a huge nostalgia trip. Plays and feels like the old board game and I've been having a blast playing this. The only thing missing is the option to "search" an area instead of moving to get the chance at finding treasure or traps. Stick that in and it's basically a perfect game to me. The interface and controls are really good and the graphics are great. Especially when you notice the equipment changing on your characters or things like the marauder putting down his sword to fire his bow. Full Review

This is a nice enough game, but the free part lasts only a couple of hours at the most. To get the full game you will have to spend £34.83 ($44.82 while the full game on PC is $29.99) which buys you seven new heroes (the basic game gives you just four) five more regions and dungeons, and five "legendary weapons". While I wouldn't mind spending so much on a proper PC game, this just isn't up to the quality I would expect for the price. If the whole game were available for £10 or less then I would think seriously about a purchase, but I'm not going to fall for this greedy trick. Full Review

Missing expansion The game is one of the best tabletop quest based games I've ever played so far, well worth the price. But recently there was a new expansion download, and I've been unable to play it, even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Fix it, and my rating will go back to 5...otherwise,reimburse me for the game value. Full Review

I love the Warhammer universe the dlc prices is little high, I think they could have put them in bundles instead of separate fees. A different view of the battles would have good to see. My only gripe in my opinion is why can't we have custom names instead the default names. But I still enjoy the game. Could you gives more items slots in the inventory. Full Review

Amazing game. I like it so much. Unfortunately greedy developers decided to offer in game gold for real money. I fully understand they deserve money for their work therefore I have no problems with paying FOR GAMES. also, I would love to pay more for EXPANSIONS. Please remove the option to buy gold, or other in game items (weapons, heroes). Keep the game clean and fair. Make new expansions and quests - I will gladly pay for them. Full Review

You could make the dlc a little less expensive or give an additional character for free as a token of good will or appreciation for those of us that bought the game. Cause the prices are just......ridiculously high. $4.99 is a bit steep for one character don't you think? Other than tbat, this is a great game. Full Review

Good game, great art, good controls, but smacks you in the face with a big pay wall. You want to continue past level 6? Gotta pay for more levels. Feels incomplete that way. Maybe if they took you through a story arch, which organically ended at the pay wall, but nope. Pay wall done wrong I'm afraid. Full Review

Everything's quite average. Found no challenge even on hardcore difficulty. Character development is straightforward. No fun in finding new items. No desire to buy new heroes. Texts are somewhat funny but soon the whole thing becomes too boring to read through all of them. Full Review

Weak.. Cloud saves are nonexistent and the "DLC" is overpriced as 10+ separate purchases. The font size is stupidly small, even on a tablet it's hard to read whats going on. The game itself is really good but the cons outweigh the pros massively. Full Review

I actually paid for this game. You buy essentially a trial version. ALL content after purchase is pay only. Not "watch a short video" or "earn 10,000 coins to unlock the next area." No, literally a link to the play store. Everything, all classes, areas, items, enemy packs, they are all locked behind real money purchases. Skip this. Skip this like the plague. Full Review

Half-baked game FULL of expensive IAPs needed to truly play the game. The IAPs have a RIDICULOUSLY high price, considering the production value of the game and the benefits offered. Tired of using the same 4 heroes? Tilesets and monsters got repetitive? Sick of grinding gold? Weak weapons? Well, IAP the s**t out of it. Also, regarding the gameplay, there is too much randomness involved. Like 50% hit chance and monsters spawning while fighting a boss. The monster can even be stronger than the boss itself. What a waste of potential this game is Full Review

There's fun to be had here, but there's also a constant push to but the individual characters, weapons, expansions, and new enemies and quests. The game won't last you more than a few hours unless you are willing to spend a lot of money. If you are interested in Warhammer or like turned based games you will probably enjoy this, but keep in mind the game will push you for more money. Full Review

Okay, so you can retire heroes and rehire to get a different stock name, and every level you get a random skill. So it takes time rerouting classes and re-levelling them to get the ideal skill sets... What would be better is at each level-up, giving us a choice of two randomly generated skills/spells instead. So far I have yet to purchase any of the IAP which I think are an okayprice compared to games that need tou you buy 'Gem' packs etc. The game plays like the board game version but slimmed down. Great graphics, no bugs so far, music is top notch, controls are simple, tutorial is short and explains the game perfectly, and it has no slow loading screens. Works perfectly on my Chromebook too! Great Great game, really reminds me of the table top rpg's i played when i was younger. Noticed many people complaining about how expensive it is,when infact it really is not, firstly you can play for free, secondly extra content ranges between 79 pence (uk) and under £2.50.An extra character will cost you 2.50 which is imo far better than many games where you have to buy 'shards' or tokens to unlock a new character and lots of them too, which cost you the earth as you may have to spend like £14 on a shard pack but still not get the ones for the dude you want because its random,so yeah i think paying a couple of quid and getting what you want is much better, Full Review
